| There aren't too
many anglers who fish 'The Muds' although one local who drops the pick there
quite often is Ben Nothling, right. Ben took a couple of mates out there last Tuesday and, as mentioned on Page One, bagged out on Snapper. Ben's pictured here with a good example of the quality of Snapper and Teraglin Jewfish the boys got on the day. And local angler Ian Tagg (below) had a lot of fun fishing from the National Park rocks when the Yellowtail Kingfish came on the bite earlier in the week. Ian was using Yakka fillets as his draw card and was very pleased to hook up with and land the 2.5kg specimen he's pictured with. He was armed with a Wilson Foreshore rod and an Alvey 650B reel loaded with 8lb line. |
