We had the crew from Surfing The Menu on the water with us last Thursday and looking at the photos below it's hard to imagine that it was blowing a 20 to 25 knot South South Easter with a 2.5m+ swell and seas further out in Laguna Bay.

These pix were taken just out from the Boiling Pot (in the shelter of the National Park hills) while filming a segment for this very popular TV show. Fishing Noosa webmaster Bill 'Billybob' Watson and Davo's proprietor Cheryl 'Chezza' Lacey took the two larrikin Aussie chefs Curtis (above) and Ben (below) out on a couple of Perception Synchro 'Angler' fishing kayaks to give them an 'at one with nature' view of the coves and points and, of course, to hopefully catch a few fish.

During the morning shoot they managed to get the guys onto a juvenile Spotty Mackerel each before heading out to deeper water to troll for Snapper. The later session, unfortunately, was cut short due to rough seas and strong winds but it was a lot of fun just the same. The show will go to air later this year but we'll give you all ample notice when it's due.
