It's nice to see the young guns featuring in the offshore scene. Melbourne lads Harrison and Tanner (below left) boated the 1.4kg Scarlet Sea Perch and 1.6kg Mowong they're pictured with on Tuesday's Cougar Too charter to Chardon's Reef.
Scarlet Sea Perch, Mowong and Pearl Perch.
And another Melbourne visitor, Eileen Nielsen (above right) joined a half day Cougar Too charter to Chardon's Reef on Thursday and was happy to pose with the 2.8kg Pearl Perch which was her standout fish on the trip.

Local angler Paul Grenfell (right) often features in our reports and it's nearly always with quality fish like the 4.6kg and 5.4kg Snapper he's posing with here.

Paul boated these two 'Knobbies', a 6kg Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish) and a 2kg Pearl Perch while out at North Reef on Tuesday morning.

He was armed with a Shimano TLD15 offshore combo loaded with 30lb Platypus line and 50lb monofilament leader. The bait that did the deed? Pilchard on a 5/0 Mustad Snapper rig.
