We've been filming the Noosa Bar Crossing channel for quite a few years now.

This service, together with regularly updated aerial photographs, is carried out to give our readers as good an understanding of the bar crossing as possible.

Sometimes while filming, however, we've recorded some memorable moments which, if nothing else, tend to remind us all just how treacherous and, at times, thoroughly unpredictable the Noosa Bar can be.

Some good advice we can pass on, after all these years of filming the bar is... do your homework beforehand and, above all, be patient.
