Local angler Ben Nothling and a mate had a hot session at 'The Hards' on Saturday, boating Parrot Fish and Mowong and bagging out on Snapper, as per the photo below. Unfortunately, when it was time to head for home, they couldn't get the motor started so they had to radio for help, then wait for the Noosa Coast Guard vessel 'John Waddams' (right) to make the 50km trip out and tow them back. Goodonya 'Coasties', never a dull moment. Oh, their gear? Wilson Live Fibre rods, Shimano Baitrunner 6500 reels and Yakka baits.
