Tyson D'Cruz (left in photo), currently on holiday in Noosa from Melbourne and his cousin Chris Lacey had a hot session on the Northern Bluefin Tuna on Saturday, each personally accounting for one of the 12kg 'Longtails' they're posing with. The boys were out on North Reef with Chris' father Greg 'The Guru' Lacey and local legend Fred 'The Voice' Creek. The outfit that they used for the live Yakka baits (which got all the Bluefin attention) was a Shimano 'T' Curve rod and an Accurate 870 reel loaded with 15kg Platinum line. The rest of the catch was Squire, Parrot Fish and Sweetlip. Northern BluefinTuna

As you can see it's school holiday time so all the young guns have been in at Davo's weighing in their standouts. And local kids Matt and Jaymi-Lee Ogden were no exception although their 6kg and 2kg Snapper were up there with the best of them. The dynamic duo boated these quality fish while fishing Sunshine Reef yesterday morning. Their outfit was a Penn rod and a Shimano Baitrunner 6500 reel loaded with 15kg line. Snapper
