After a relatively quiet stretch Little Hall's Reef fired up with a vengeance this week and local angler Daniel Bell (below left) was there on Tuesday when the Tuna were well and truly on the boil. Drifting out a live Yakka into the frenzied bait school activity Daniel hooked and landed this excellent 22kg Northern Bluefin around 6.30am. He was armed with a Purglas rod and a Shimano TLD25 reel loaded with 10kg line. And on Friday, Daniel Farge (below right) was out at North Reef when the Snapper came on the bite and stopped in at Davo's on the way home to weigh in his standout, a 6kg 'Knobby'.

Local angler Barney (above) was another angler who found North Reef to his liking this week. Barney was out there on a full day Cougar One charter on Saturday and was happy to pose with this 4.5kg Snapper just after it came over the side.
