OFFSHORE: The moderate variable winds carried over from last week before swinging to South Easterlies on Sunday, then picking up strength on Monday. The associated 2m+ swell and predominantly blustery conditions curtailed offshore activity for most of the last three days of the report week.
When fishable, Double Island Point produced plenty of quality Pearl Perch plus Squire, Red Emperor, Teraglin Jew, Moses Perch and the odd Coral Trout while Chardon's Reef yielded good size Moses Perch plus Cobia, Snapper, Squire and Pearlies. North Reef was the spot for Parrot Fish, Squire, Moses Perch, Mack Tuna plus quality Snapper and Cobia.

ONSHORE:
The North Shore livened up a bit with Dart, Chopper Tailor and Whiting coming from the gutters opposite the Third Cutting while Castaways Beach continued its run of Choppers.
Trevally made a real splash with plenty of 2.5kg+ specimens landed at the Woods Bays, the Gympie Terrace jetties and in Weyba Creek up as far as Weyba Bridge. Rubbertail jigs and trolled diving Minnows and 'Storm' shallow running lures all accounted for their fair share. The Whiting hot spots were Lake Cooroibah, Tewantin, the Sound and Munna Beach. Bream were quiet although a few quality fish were landed around Tewantin and Munna Point. School Jew (up to 6kg) were active up towards the Tewantin Ferry and in the Munna Point area with live baits working best. With the Bass staying deep in Lake MacDonald, the stretch below the spillway was the most productive.

Tim Croker from Brisbane came up with this thumper Bream around Munna Point on Saturday night, tempting it with a live winter Whiting on a 3/0 hook.
He was working the area hoping to nail another 3kg Jewfish to match the one he boated the previous night on a live Herring. Tim was using a jig stick and an Alvey 650 reel loaded with 15lb line and trace.

Here's a few weekend snaps from Noosa Blue Water Charters who were out there most days until the strengthening winds shut offshore down on Monday.
On the right we have Dawn and Col Farell from Cannon Hill in Brisbane posing with a Sweetlip and some of the 3kg+ Pearl Perch boated on Cougar'I's Saturday trip to Double Island Point.
And bottom left, from the same mixed full day charter, it's Anita Johnston from Coolum with a 2kg Coral Trout and 2.5kg+ Pearl Perch.
They were kitted out with 'Gary Howard' custom rods, Alvey reels and 30lb line. The rest of the catch? Squire and Moses Perch.
On the right, Noel Rossiter was out on 'Baitrunner' for a Sunday night charter to Double Island Point with the Maroochydore RSL Angling Club.
This 8.0kg Mangrove Jack was one of a pair of these thumper 'Dog Bream' boated that night. Noel was armed with a Wilson 'Live Fibre' rod, a Daiwa Sealine reel and 40lb line. His bait? Tailor frame on 2x 6/0 hooks.
The rest of the catch was Teraglin Jew, Squire, Pearl and Moses Perch.
